Well, if you don't have a kid or two yet, you won't understand this. The undeniable truth is that few things change a person like having kids.

And, although some men may shirk their responsibilities a lot more easily and keep living a seemingly unchanged life (Something I prefer to call irresponsibility), it is very difficult for the average woman.

Lovely as kids are, they demand a lot of your time and resources. It's often a hard time for most parents: How to increase income without neglecting the kids.

So, you know the usual consensus: Sweet mama has to give up her work for those breeding years (painfully, with less support as daddy is compelled to work longer hours to maintain the family at something close to their usual level).

This strains quite a few relationships. Is there any way out? Thank God there is...

You can build a website around your experience, passion or hobby. The good thing about this is that you control your time and not the other way round. The internet is awake 24 hours daily. When your part of the world is sleeping, another part is just having it's lunch break.

You can build pages in the dead of the night. You can set up your autoresponder either by 12 noon or 12 midnight. All you have to do is set when you want your messages delivered. People will respond to your calls to action 24 hours a day.

You work whenever you can even if it is just for thirty minutes at a time. You can work when the kids are playing, when the baby is taking a nap, the options are quite numerous. If you must devote a day or two to some of your kids' matters, your business will not suffer.

Simply put: You have a business that keeps working whether you're sleeping, on vacation, attending a kid's open day, the list goes on. Going the website route gives you such flexibility that can only be dreamed of in other home businesses.

However, to make this work for you, you have to reorganize your home to accomodate your internet business. You have to use a suite of tools that will help you achieve much in less time. You need tools that take care of most of the time consuming work associated with a successful website. And, finally, you must make sure you follow a time-tested process.

I am a stay-at-home dad and I am currently teaching folks how to get 100,000 high quality visitors monthly within their first 12 months online. That translates to a lot of bucks. However, you can scale down your expectations to suit your personal situation: 5,000; 10,000 -- It's your call.
